Terms of Service

Steward is an AI-powered receptionist service that answers phone calls on behalf of businesses. By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The service is provided by Steward (contact: support@stewardai.se).

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the business you represent. By accepting these Terms you confirm that this is the case.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@stewardai.se if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share your account or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing plan limits.

Free plan — available at no cost with the features described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the Free plan with 30 days' notice.

Paid plans — billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are shown in SEK inclusive of VAT. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.

Refunds — we do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Price changes — we will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

You may not use Steward to:

- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Deceive callers about the nature of the service (you must ensure callers can reach a human if they request one).
- Process special-category personal data (e.g. health information) without appropriate safeguards.
- Conduct spam calls, robocalling, or unsolicited marketing.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

You are responsible for ensuring that callers are informed that they are speaking with an AI service, in accordance with applicable law and good practice. Steward does not accept liability for your failure to comply with disclosure requirements.

We retain all rights to the Steward platform, software, and branding. You retain ownership of the business content and configurations you provide. You grant us a limited licence to use your content solely to operate and improve the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

- We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business or missed calls.
- Our total liability to you in any calendar month is limited to the amount you paid us during that month.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may cancel your account from the dashboard settings. We may terminate your account with 14 days' notice, or immediately if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.

If you are a consumer (not acting in a business capacity), you may also contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) at arn.se.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
