What's new

What's new in Steward.

Every update we ship, newest first. We improve Steward every week — here's what changed.

  1. New featureLatest4 October 2026

    The Steward assistant

An AI assistant in the builder that makes changes for you, works on a draft while your live receptionist keeps answering, and connects after-call summaries to email, Slack or your own system.

  2. News30 September 2026

    Refer a friend

Invite another business to Steward and you both get rewarded when they sign up.

  3. New feature23 September 2026

Pause switch and a new home dashboard

Turn a receptionist off and on with one click, and follow calls and bookings at a glance on your new home screen.

  4. New feature20 September 2026

    Guided first setup

New accounts start with a short onboarding that imports your website, so your first receptionist knows your business from the start.

  5. New feature16 September 2026

    More natural calls

Callers can now interrupt your receptionist mid-sentence, replies stream in faster, and bookings are made live during the call instead of afterwards.

  6. New feature16 September 2026

    Callback requests

If a transferred call isn't picked up, Steward takes a message and notifies you who to call back.

  7. New feature2 September 2026

    A receptionist that learns

After each call Steward flags the questions your receptionist couldn't answer, so you can teach it in one click.

  8. News25 August 2026

    Steward is live

Steward officially launches, with real Swedish phone numbers for every published receptionist.

  9. New feature14 August 2026

    Calendar sync

Connect your existing calendar so your receptionist respects busy times and never double-books.

  10. New feature10 August 2026

Meet Coach — your AI receptionist's built-in advisor

Coach is a second AI that sits inside the Builder and looks at your receptionist the way a customer would — spotting what's missing, what's unclear, and what would make it sound sharper on the phone. Open a receptionist and hit the Coach button. It scans your current setup and gives you a handful of concrete tips right away — no back-and-forth needed. Then you can ask it anything: "what's missing?", "how does my greeting sound?", "what would you add for a barber shop?" — and when it has an exact line worth adding to your instructions, it shows it as a snippet you can send straight to the builder with one click. Asking Coach a question costs 3 builder credits — the same credits you already use for chatting with the main builder. The first scan and tips are always free. If you're on Premium, Coach is unlimited — ask as much as you want, no credits spent. Try it on your next receptionist and see what it catches that you missed.
